My wife and I enjoy all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. We are very passionate about the beauty of the PNW. A walk in the fresh evergreen trees calms our soul or camping in the Olympics at peaceful alpine lakes. We enjoy the area fully, from the time we spend fishing in the salt water and rivers, to hiking in the mountains, and everything in between.

I have always found great interest on how things work. When I was very little, I took the toaster apart to see how it worked. But it was my wise Mother who said, 'You can take things apart as long as you can put it back together again and they work!' My family continued to enjoy their toast in the morning.

I have a wide range of work experience in the construction industry. Working with Smithco Construction, we built houses from the ground up. From the design stages and site works to putting the roof on, and all the finishing details in between.

Using this experience we remodeled our home, doubling the square feet, blending the old with the new so that the home feels cohesive. Adding several custom designs. Also, my wife and I have enjoyed doing volunteer relief building work for communities having been affected by natural disasters.

The sense of accomplishment of a job done well and finished correctly, is something I learned from my father. He was very mechanical and a problem solver, a quality I appreciate that he passed on to me.
